|The instructions below are only to install the dishwasher drip pan, not the appliance.
|1. After dishwasher is pulled out, examine and inspect
floor for defects. The dishwasher opening must have a
floor the same level as the flooring directly in front of
where the dishwasher sits, allowing any water to flow out
in front of dishwasher.
|2. The pan is then placed in the opening approximately
1" back from the cabinet "toe-kick" line. (The "toe-kick" is
the front of the cabinet base.)

|3. Place a strip of masking tape along front edge of
pan. This marks where the pan sits and will also
collect the excess sealant.
|6. Secure the front of the pan to the floor using
screws provided. Remove masking tape and excess
|7. Apply the plastic tape to the front edge of the
pan protruding 3/8" on to the floor. Next, apply
side flashings as shown in picture. Note: For tile or
stone floors, use the plastic tape instead of screws to
hold pan in place.
|5. Place the drip pan back into position, aligning
the front edge with the masking tape. Press down
along front edge, squeezing the sealant evenly and
up through the screw holes.
|4. Lift and support the front edge of the pan and
apply 1/4" size bead of clear silicone sealant
(included with kit) approximately 3/4" behind the
tape. Also, apply sealant generously to the sides of
the cabinet. This sealant is needed in order to
prevent water from a leak and from seeping under
the pan after it leaves the pan.
